In India and abroad, Usha Martin Limited and its subsidiaries produce and market items made of wires, wire ropes, and strands. The business sells wire ropes, including ropes for conveyor belts and structural systems as well as ropes for oil and offshore, crane, mining, lift, fishing, aerial and general engineering applications. It also produces a variety of industrial machines, such as material handling equipment, steel plant equipment, cable machines, wire drawing machines, wire stranding machines, and wire rope closure machines.

Rajeev Jhawar is now the Managing Director and Executive Director of Usha Martin Limited, the chief financial and compliance officer of GJ Steel Public Co., Ltd., and the chief financial and compliance officer of G Steel Public Co., Ltd. Mr. Jhawar serves on the boards of 17 other firms in addition to being a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India.

Prior to this, Rajeev Jhawar held the positions of Managing Director at Usha Martin Industries Ltd., Director-Finance & Commercial at SBQ Steels Ltd., and Director-Finance & Commercial at Tropical Agro system India Ltd. Mr. Jhawar has an undergraduate degree from St. Xavier's College and a graduate degree from the London Business School.
